Reprints of ancient texts
A series of publications was issued by the Kaisher Library
between 1963 and 1967 (2020 and 2024 BS). 7 of the titles published
were reprints of ancient texts and handwritten manuscripts in the
collection, as follows:-
Jaganmohanam part 1 2020 BS A Sanskrit manuscript on astrology
Jaganmoanam part 2 2021 BS
Sambid prakash kabyam 2020 BS Poetry. Sanskrit
Basha banshabai part 1 2020 BS A famous collection of historical,
religious Basha banshabai part 2 2023 BS and traditional writing.
Nepali manuscript.
Ishatatwam 2021 BS Commentary on the religious text, Eeshavasyopanishad.
Nepali.
Prasastiratnabali Manuscript by Pandit Bani Bilas Pandey.

Catalogues of manuscripts
Subject catalogues of selected manuscripts from the Kaisher Library’s holdings at that time were published from
1964 to 1967 (2021-2024 BS), as follows:
- Suchipatram 1 2021 List
of manuscripts on Buddhism
- Suchipatram 2 2021 Astrology
- Suchipatra 3 2022 Astrology
- Suchipatra 4 2024 Buddhism
All the manuscript holdings of the Kaisher Library, numbering
about 8,000 items, were transferred to the National Archives Department
at a later date, where they are available for consultation.
Nepal National Union Catalogue
The Kaisher published two separate volumes of National union
catalogue one in 1997 and the second one in 2000 with assistance from
DANIDA and UNESCO. The entries are the books held in 8 major libraries.

Nepal)- Volume 1 N.Rs.1,000; Volume 2, 645.00
(outside Nepal)-US$20 including postage (surface mail).
Kaisher News
This newsletter is published twice a year. It is available free
of charge to libraries and other organisations. Please contact the
Kaisher if you would like your organisation to be added to our mailing
list.
Poster
A full colour poster promoting literacy, reading and libraries have
been produced by the Kaisher Library. Single copy is available
free of charge to community libraries, schools, and development
organisations within Nepal, while stocks last. Please send a written
request to the Kaisher Library.
